As a freelance writer I have published reviews, articles, interviews and festival coverage for multiple outlets. I'm also the Deputy Editor for FILMHOUNDS Magazine and have had work featured on Rotten Tomatoes.

FILMHOUNDS Magazine

Over the years I have had work published on their website and in their print magazine as a staff writer. I'm now their Deputy Editor, in which I look after a team of writers and liaise with PR agencies, and continue to write my own pieces.

Mediaversity Reviews

I've done a few commissions for Mediaversity Reviews, where reviews examine social contexts and inclusivity as well as technical aspects.

Movie Marker

I was commissioned by Movie Marker to write up a review of a feature film from the BFI Flare 2024 film festival.

Metro GameCentral

I was commissioned by Metro's GameCentral division to write a piece for Pride Month. I took the opportunity to talk about positive queer representation within AAA games.

Film Stories

After pitching the idea, I was commissioned to write an article about film production in Norfolk and Norwich. My extensive research and interviews with location managers and producers led the piece to be featured on the front of the magazine.

I took on some freelance work for Space.com that allowed me to branch out into writing lists and guides. These articles also have a particular tone of voice with audiences interested in science in mind.

Flip Screen

When I was a staff writer at Flip Screen, I published an array of reviews, articles and interviews. I even ran a monthly column focused on screenwriting that garnered popularity within the film criticism community.

JumpCut PLAY

I was commissioned to write a personal piece on my relationship with the Zelda franchise, in celebration of the franchise's 35th anniversary. 

New Game Plus

After submitting a pitch I was commissioned by New Game Plus to write an article exploring bisexual representation in video games.
